Where can I get information on the maximum length of ASi cable I can use before I need to use a repeater?
Also is there a maximum number of repeaters that can be used in one run.

(Sorry for the delay)

White Paper standard for AS-interface, segment cable length is 100 meters, MMU good guide, cut off 100 meters of cable, when used you require a repeater and power supply (common power supply via seperate chokes for isolation on each segment) for the new segment.

Two repeaters are permitted so in-line 300 meters Max (no tap off’s)

Or centre feed and two repeaters either side = 500 meters.

Tuning devices are available that allows the 100 meters to be extended.

Generally for the ASi cable we need repeater at each 100 meter cable. But I recommend to use only 90 meter cable for strong signals. And you can use 2 repeater for this cable. If you take more repeater then signal quality will be less and some bits in the binary format can be changed. So the security purpose is also included.
