How do I remove a node from an IFM AC1014?

I have taken the node off the ASi network but this has left me with an error on the controller. I now need to reconfigure to clear this error. We only have a hand held unit to program nodes and the pushbuttons and display built into the unit.

We do not have any PC based software do we need it?

In Asi network you can make lots of node as you needed. But when you want to reduce the node then you should remove it from the end of the network. After removing reconfigure all the network node then you can solve this problem. Try to make terminator at the end of the network to terminates the problem regarding nodes.
